The Croydon Pétanque club are open to all. They have leisure boules available for people to try out the game and people can play up to 3 times before there is a requirement to join; the club is affiliated to English Pétanque Association (EPA) and the insurance cover applies for up to 3 taster sessions. Club annual fees are currently £12/annum (adult), £3/annum (Junior) and £6/annum (long distance member- over 20miles away). Members are covered by our EPA insurance when they join.
The game can be played by all abilities. Coaching is available from the more experienced members, should you require it. The game is played, throughout the country by many disabled persons, who are also very welcome.
The club hold several competitions throughout the year and some of the members also compete in open competitions around the country, including some EPA national competitions.
Croydon Pétanque Club meets in Ashburton Park at the following times:
Wednesdays 10:00 am
Fridays 1:00 pm
Saturdays 1:00 pm
Sundays 10:00 am
